“Every afternoon after school, my siblings and I would gather in the kitchen with my mother over black tea and hot milk, her cakes still warm from the oven. We would talk, laugh, reset, then return to our books. That was our ritual. That was tea time.
Years later, in a small shop in Marrakech, I met Amine El Baroudi. He spoke of tea not as a drink, but as a journey and introduced me to something I had never seen before: white tea. In that moment, I realized what we had been drinking all those years was not real tea, but flavored dust.
That was the beginning of a calling to bring real tea back to our region and make it personal again.”

As Co-Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer, I brought Tchaba to the Middle East to reflect our culture, refine global blends, and reimagine tea for a generation who had forgotten its beauty.
From Jordan to Japan, I explored the world’s tea cultures and crafted a collection that speaks to both tradition and innovation where Arabian ingredients like saffron, cardamom, and rose sit alongside timeless classics like Earl Grey.

We exist to craft teas and decaf herbal infusions that cater to every palate, from the adventurous to the most discerning. Every blend is thoughtfully curated, ensuring that no matter your preference, there’s a cup of tea that feels like it was made just for you.
Real tea does not come from powder, dust, or synthetic flavoring. It is handpicked. Every leaf is selected by trained pickers who preserve the shape, aroma, and integrity of the plant. This is the Tchaba standard: if it is not handpicked, it is not real tea.
Our teas come from celebrated gardens in Japan, Sri Lanka, India, China, and Vietnam. Each of our sourcing partners is Rainforest Alliance Certified. This means:
All Tchaba teas meet or exceed European Union standards for food safety and pesticide residues. According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), teas sold in Europe must pass residue limits so strict, many teas are considered organically compliant even without certification.

At Tchaba, we believe sustainability is more than a statement, it is a responsibility. We know that in many parts of our region, recycling systems are inconsistent or nonexistent. That is why we chose not to rely on vague promises like “plastic-free” or “recyclable.”
Instead, we invested in solutions that leave no doubt. Our envelopes are certified home compostable, designed to break down naturally in any environment, not just industrial composting facilities. According to TÜV Austria, the global leader in environmental certification, 99% of our packaging will fully compost within 180 days.

All teas are made from handpicked tea leaves, not machine-cut dust.
We source from Rainforest Alliance Certified gardens in Japan, India, Sri Lanka, China, and Vietnam. All leaves are handpicked by artisanal farmers, then blended and packaged in Germany and Dubai, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.
